Hello and welcome to my site. My name is Richard Graham, I am an artist sculptor, and creature assembler working from my studio at Thames Side Studios, in Greenwich, London. My artwork broadly explores anthropomorphism in objects, looking for character in inanimate forms and putting those things together to create contrasts between the real and the imagined.
My most recent project is titled ‘Junkbirds’, this body of work uses found objects to make the forms of birds. Last year i received a grant from the British Arts Council, and was able to animate the birds into a story. Here is the story below.
